Obituary for ELVAH RUSSELL NEESE
Elvah Russell Neese, 91, of 4104 75th St., Urbandale, died of a heart ailment Saturday at Bishop Drumm Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Neese was born in Albany, IL, and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired as a secretary for Neese and Sons and was a member of First Federated Chruch.
Surviving are her husband, Elven; a daughter, Helen Black of Mission Viejo, CA; four sons, Ralph of Phoenix, AZ, Howard of Urbandle, Dean of West Des Moines and Gene of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
