Obituary for JAMES H MEDICI
Services for James Medici, 82, of 5354 N.E. Fourteenth St., will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Medici died of a heart ailment Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Born in Italy, he had been a Des Moines resident since he was 15 years old. He was a retired coal miner and Ford Implement Co. employee.
Mr. Medici was a member of Vittoria Lodge and Untied Auto Workers Union Local 991.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Beth Rummans of Des Moines; three sons, Roy C. and Vernon J., both of Des Moines, and Robert J. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Maria Stefani of Grimes and Mrs. Femme Fiori, living in Italy; two brothers, Attilio of Chicago, Ill., and Santi, living in Italy; and six grandchildren.
