Obituary for MABEL ELLEN LITTELL
Services for Mrs. Ben (Mabel) Littell, 77, of 2336 Amherst St. who died Monday in Prairie City of complications following a stroke, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Littell, who was ill 18 months, was born at Swan and lived in Des Moines 52 years. She was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Kasner of Des Moines and Mrs. Leora Benson or Everett, WA; five sons, John of Kennewick, WA, Harold of Seattle, WA, Bennie of Raytown, MO, and Loren and Bob of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Deitrick of Des Moines and Minnie Cannon of Knoxville; a brother, John Cannon of Perry; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
