Obituary for ALFRED M PEDERSEN
Services for Alfred "Pete" Pedersen, 85, of 3935 Thirty-sixth St. will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Pedersen died of complications following surgery Monday at Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Born in Elk Horn, Mr. Pedersen attended Dana College in Blair, NE. He lived in Audubon before moving to Des Moines 40 years ago, and was a retired auto parts manager, a member of Highland Park Legion Post 374 and a US Army veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Alma; a daughter, Norma Brown of Des Moines; three brothers, Sigurd of Padre Island, TX; Leslie of Loveland, CO; and Bendale of Bloomington, MN, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
