Obituary for LEROY H MOSSBERG
LeRoy H. Mossberg, Indianola. Funeral services for LeRoy H. Mossberg, 89, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at The Village Health Care Ccenter in Indianola, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 25 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola of which he was a member. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery n Des Moines.
LeRoy was born in Webster County, Iowa and had lived in Indianola since 1952. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII from 1942-1945 stationed in Alaska. He worked as a salesman for wholesale hardware companies in central Iowa retiring in 1983 from Wyeth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coffee club.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Douglas (Ann) Mossberg of Omaha, NE and Craig (Carol) Mossberg of Sandy, UT; daughters, Kris (Duane) Nielsen of Indianola and Julia (Tim) Messamer of Burlington; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Memorials may be given to his church.
