Obituary for BARBARA ANN DANILSON
Barbara Ann Danilson, 80, died on March 21, 2011 at Kavanagh House on 56th Street.
Barbara was born on February 1, 1931 in Fort Dodge to Harold and Eathol Reed. She is survived by her children, Philip Danilson, RaeLynn Breese, Kimberly (Bill) Petty, Sean Danilson, and Kelly (Ross) Sherrick; 6 grandchildren, Kerry (Greg) Warren, Jeremy (Stacy) Venn, Steve Petty, Miranda (William) Tolson, Melissa Petty, and Jacob Sherrick. 8 great-grandchildren, Daniel Halstead, Maryena Petty-Lee, Riley Venn, Kevin French, Payton Venn, Caitlin Tolson, Quentin Tolson, and Kamryn Tolson and host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Philip E. Danilson. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 24 at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salisbury House Foundation or Kavanagh House on 56th Street.
