Obituary for BETTY WEBB DOWNARD
Betty Webb Downard, 89, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Betty was born August 19, 1919 in Des Moines to Betsy and John Daniels. She was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed being with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Betty is survived by her husband, Charles Downard, her children, Lenny (Ellie) Webb, Lois (Jerry) Graeve, Carol (Marc) VanderLinden, Dale (Linda) Webb; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Raymond Webb, her son, Ray Webb and 11 brothers and sisters. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Make A Wish Foundation.
