Obituary for MATTHEW FRANCIS CUMPTON
Matthew Cumpton, 42, died Saturday October 31, 2009 at his home. Matthew was born on September 16, 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa to Francis and Martha (Hansen) Cumpton.
Matthew graduated from North High School, went to DMACC for accounting and worked for Hy-Vee. Matthew enjoyed fishing, cooking and Tae Kwon Do where he earned his Forth Degree black belt from Mr. Kim.
Matthew is survived by his mother; Martha, twin brother Mark Cumpton; two step brothers and two step sisters.
Matthew was preceded in death by his father; Francis Cumpton Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2009, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from 6-8 pm Thursday November 5, 2009, at the funeral home.
