Obituary for LINDA SUE MONOHON
Linda Sue Monohon was born on December 24, 1944, to Harold and Vera Monohon in Des Moines, IA. A life-long Des Moines resident, Linda enjoyed a successful career in reinsurance and in insurance, retiring from Shelter Insurance in 2006 as District Sales Manager.
Linda loved her family and was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church. Linda left us on Sunday, August 26, 2007, after a short stay at Kavanagh House.
Linda will always be remembered with love and affection by the many people whose lives she touched. Gone before her were her grandparents and her father. Left to remember our beautiful Lidna are mother, Vera; son, Grant; sister, Karen (Steve) Middlesworth; brothers, Mike (Penny) and Pat; nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon on Tuesday, August 28, from 6 to 8 p.m The funeral will be held at Hamilton''s on Wednesday, August 29, at 1 p.m. with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
