Obituary for NANETTE KAYE EGINOIRE

Nanette Kaye Frost-Eginoire, 52, of Des Moines, IA, passed away late Sunday night, September 26, at her home in Beaverdale. Nan was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and thoroughly enjoyed working the program with her friends. Known for her great generosity, Nan was always one to do anything for a friend or loved one, changing the lives of everyone she knew. She enjoyed more than anything the company of her friends and family, especially her two young grandsons. Nan had a big heart and a great passion for the Lord and never missed an opportunity to share with anyone who would listen. She had a big laugh to go with her big personality, infectious to anyone around. She always loved, always laughed, and never judged. Nan never took a day for granted, and rejoiced in each new day God gave her. Nanette is survived by her husband of 23 years, James “Jimmie” Eginoire, her two children, Alex (Heather) Dingman of Ankeny, and Bailey Eginoire of Des Moines; her parents, Jeri (Larry) Miller and Jerry (Karen) Frost; two sisters, Linda (David) Scholes and Stephanie (Mark) Dresselhuys; grandsons, Tate and Ben; nieces, September, Ashley, and Lindsay; nephews, Jeramie and Justin; and her beloved Schnauzer Emma. Nanette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell and Marlys Smith; cousin Chad; her father-in-law, Bill Eginoire; and many of her beloved dogs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or Al-Anon.
