Obituary for BESSIE M DAUGHERTY
Bessie M. Daugherty, 90, was born November 7, 1920, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Homer Major and Stella Martin. She died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Bessie is survived by her daughters, Joy (Charles) Callaway of Colorado and Deborah (Marion) Larkins of New Virginia; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daugherty; and daughter, Deanna Bergis.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue. Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens is handling arrangements.
