Obituary for VELMA DARLENE TAYLOR
Velma Taylor, 82, passed away on Wednesday July 13, 2011, at Taylor House Hospice.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday July 15, 2011, at Staves United Methodist Church, 2747 East Madison Avenue, Des Moines.
Velma is survived by her niece, Kim (Tony) Younstick; great-niece, Whitney Wesh; great-great-nephew, Loren Wesh; great-great-nieces, River and Serenity Wesh, Jean Miles, Janness and Ron Heuton, Mary Lee Greider, and Sharon Hicks; and a host of wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Florence Taylor; brothers, Dale Taylor and Jack Taylor; and dear friend, Darlene Nieland.
