Obituary for VIRGINIA M BAKER
Virginia M. "Gina" Baker, 72, of 6700 SE Fifth St., died of complications of a stroke Saturday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Simpson United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Baker, a homemaker, was born in Mason City and lived in the Des Moines area 50 years.
She is survived by her husband, Claude; two sons, Dwight of Des Moines and Jeffrey of Waco, TX; a stepson, Charles Baker of Phoenix, AZX; three sisters, Patricia Gusland of Des Moines, Beverly Falcone of Colorado Springs, CO, and Leota Hicks of Tucson, AZ; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or her church. Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
