Obituary for CHAD ALAN WALKER
Chad Alan Walker, 30, of the 500 block of Southweat Westlawn Dr in Ankeny, died of strangulation Sunday. The death was ruled a suicide. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Walker was born in Des Moines and had lived in the area all his life. He was a construction worker and enjoyed fishing and watching sports.
He is survived by four sons, Corey, Tory, Chad and Devin, a daughter, Marissa Walker, his parents, Sherin and Robert Walker, Sr., a brother, Robert Walker, Jr.; and a sister, Rhonda Walker-Zepeda, all of Des Moines; and his grandparents, Goldie Johnson-Alexander of Des Moines and Loretta Walker of Newberg, OR.
His companion was Renee Clark of Des Moines.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.>>
