Obituary for JOSEPHINE MARIE STEPHENSON
Josephine M Stephenson, 93, of Luther Park Heatlh Care Center, 1555 Hull Ave., died of cancer there Wednesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephenson, a homemaker, was a lifelong resident of Des Moines.
Survivors include two daughters, JoAnne Young of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Barbara Hoff of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. and where a rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
