Obituary for DALE M GIBBONS
Dale M. Gibbons, born January 8, 1935, has joined his beloved wife, Patricia in spirit, on February 11, 2004. Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a dedicated employee of Iowa Power and Light, Cimino''s Brewery, Prairie Meadows and also once owned and operated Jim Dandy''s Tavern in Des Moines. Dale was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Am-Vets.
He leaves behind three sons and a daughter, Jim Gibbons of Des Moines, Terry Burger of Altoona, Nick Burger of Longmont, CO, and Kathy Speer of Des Moines and their spouses; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside ceremony will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in care of Terry Burger of Altoona.
