Obituary for ANGELINE POWELL
Angeline Powell, 83, of Maplewood Village in Ankeny died of cancer Thursday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Ankeny, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Powell was born in New Boston and had lived in Kahoka, MO before moving to Ankeny in 1987. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking and reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Melody Kragenbrink of Ankeny; a son, Marlin Powell of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Ellarona Gunter and Violet Hirschler, both of Fort Madison; two brothers, Aronell Hentzel and Dewayne Hentzel, both of Donnellson; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin.
