Obituary for NORMA DIEMER
Norma Diemer, 78, of 1800 Watrous Ave. died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Diemer had lived in Des Moines all her life and was a retired secretary with the Des Moines school board.
She is survived by two sons, James and Charles, both of Des Moines; a sister, Frances Lusk of Palos Verdes, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Merle Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
