Obituary for HELEN B VELTMAN

Helen Veltman, 94, of the 1100 block of Northeast 52nd Ave. died of pneumonia Friday at home.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Veltman was born in Pontiac, MI and had lived in Des Moines 52 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of Capitol City Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Lois Stringer of Des Moines; a son, David of Belleair Beach, FL; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
