Obituary for ARTHELLA RASMUSSEN
Arthella Rasmussen, 84, of Luther Park Health Care Center, 1555 Hull Ave. died of pneumonia there Saturday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Rasmussen was born in Audubon County and moved to Des Moines in 1930. She formerly worked at DCS Publishing Co.
Surviving are four sisters, Thelma Zweifel of Dows and Bonnie Stachli, Loine Reichardt and Laurene Peterson, all of Des Moines; and a brother, Harlan Waychoff of Cedar Rapids.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
