Obituary for JEFFREY JAMES BALLARD
Services for Jeffrey James Ballard, six-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Donald Ballard of 2800 E. Des Moines St., who died Friday of encephalitis at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Young Ballard was born in Des Moines and was a student at Willard School.
Survivors besides his parents include his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. J.C. Fredregill of Des Moines; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Ballard of New Virginia; four brothers, Dennis of Ankeny, Fred of Johnston, Clifford of Des Moines and Leonard, with the Navy in London, England; and five sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Burgess of Colorado Springs, CO, Bettie, Phyllis, Connie and Karen, all of Des Moines.
