Obituary for ROBERT ALLAN HOBSON
Services for Robert A. Hobson, 40, of 826 Clinton Ave. will be a 3 p.m. today at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hobson, a foreman at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., died Tuesday night at Des Moines General Hospital of a heart attack.
Born in Des Moines, he had been a lifetime resident here. He was a graduate of Woodside High School and attended Grand View College and the State University of Iowa, Iowa City.
He was a member of Highland Park Christian Church; Auburn Masonic Lodge; and the Tall Corn Area Council, and Boy Scouts of America. He was a former Saydel school board member.
Mr. Hobson is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two sons, Robert R. and George Allan; a daughter, Judith Ann; his mother, Mrs. Beulah Hobson; and a brother, Richard, all of Des Moines.
