Obituary for CLAYTON ALLEN BARNEY
Clayton (Red) Barney, 70, of 2938 Garfield Ave., died of a circulatory ailment Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hosptial. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Park Baptsit Church, with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens.
A lifelong Des Moines resident, Mr. Barney attended Dowling High School here. He was a retired foreman for the Iowa State Highway Commission.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Karen Miller of Lake Dallas, TX; a brother Charles of Port Sulphur, LA; and three grandsons.
Friends may call at the Richardson Funeral Home. The family suggets that any memorial contributions be made to Grandview Park Baptist Church.
