Obituary for Lawrence S Boban
Lawrence S. Boban, age 81, a resident of Cardinal Woods Nursing Home in Madison Twp., formerly of Chester Twp., passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 28, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp. He was born December 26, 1934 in Cleveland to John and Lucy Boban. Lawrence was a graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School and served in the U.S. Army Third Armored Division from 1959 to 1961. He married Barbara A. (nee Peck) on July 15, 1961. Lawrence was a fireman for both Chester Twp. and Pepper Pike Fire Departments and retired from Colombia Metal Stamping in Cleveland. He loved dogs, enjoyed fishing, baseball, and was a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. He is survived by his son, John (Lori) Boban of Madison; two granddaughters, Becky and Emily Boban; brother-in-law, John (Geraldine) Peck; nephews, John (Carrie) and Daniel (Brianna) Peck, Michael (Charlette) Kieliszek; and niece, Lou Ann Kieliszek. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara in 1984, and two sisters, Ann Boban of Maple Hts. and Catherine (Phil) Kieliszek of Burton.
