Obituary for Ms. Nancy A Krebs Roth

Nancy Ann Krebs Roth died unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at York Hospital.

Nancy was born on December 16, 1957, at York Hospital. She was the youngest daughter of Lyndon and Barbara (Troutman) Krebs. She is survived by three sisters: Susan Krebs, Gale Yinger, and Lynette Turner, as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.

Nancy graduated from York High in the class of 1975. She devoted her growing-up years to swimming at the YMCA, eventually becoming a state champion in the breast stroke.

Nancy fulfilled her lifelong wish to be an organ donor. The Gift of Life network was able to share her kidneys, liver, corneas, bones, and skin with people awaiting life-enhancing or life-saving transplants. In keeping with Nancy's wishes, her heart, left lung, pancreas, and intestine will be used for research to benefit others.

Nancy's family is grateful for the patient and supportive care the residential staff of the TrueNorth CHIPP program provided to her over the last three years.

Memorial contributions can be made to the SPCA or to TrueNorth Wellness Services, 625 West Elm Avenue, Hanover, PA. 17331. Attn: Carol Connor. Indicate "Nancy Roth" in the memo line.

Funeral services will be private. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
