Obituary for JAMIE M. ZACKOWSKI

Jaime Zackowski, 34, was born in Reading, PA on February 26, 1988 and died at home on October 25, 2022. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Jeff Zackowski. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Zackowski of Reading, PA, and his sisters: Miranda Braun and husband Michael, Taylor McGinley and husband Peter, and Alexa Zackowski. He is also survived by his grandparents, Cathy and Ted Crawford, as well as his nieces, nephew, many aunts and uncles, and his beloved pitbull Ruby. Jaime grew up in Muhlenberg Township and attended Muhlenberg High School ('06). Throughout his life, Jaime remained a kid at heart who wanted to make others laugh, often by recalling a funny memory. He loved his friends and family and, whenever he could, sought to help others and put a smile on their face. In recent years, Jaime demonstrated his love and selflessness in the way he cared for his dogs. Jaime was an athlete and a lifelong sports fan, rooting for the Boston Red Sox, North Carolina Tar Heels, and, above all, the Green Bay Packers, a passion he shared with his dad, Jeff. Some of Jaime's most valued memories were his days playing high school football with his friends and visiting Lambeau Field. There is no doubt that Jeff was waiting for Jaime with open arms as he made his Lambeau Leap to a better place. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones consider making a contribution to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
