Obituary for Oliver B. Gordon Jr.

Oliver B. Gordon, age 83, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Paoli Hospital after a brief illness.

 He was born in Rochester, New York on February 26, 1939, the son of the late Oliver B. and Ethel (Holloway) Gordon.

Oliver has been living in Skippack since 2003 formerly of Drexel Hill, PA.  He attended Christ's Church of the Valley and was a former member of Riverview Presbyterian Church where he served as Treasurer.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as an Internal Auditor for PECO.  He enjoyed summers spent at the Jersey Shore, most recently in Ocean City, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elise (Edmiston) Gordon of Collegeville, PA; son, Jeffrey (& Diane) Gordon of Malvern, PA; two daughters, Deborah (& Steven) Thum of Phoenixville and Donna (& Michael) Sullivan of Oaks; and five grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathon, Michael, Matthew and Samantha.  

Along with his parents, Oliver was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Houle.  

Interment will be private for the immediate family in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
