Anne Frances Portillo

July 18, 1962 — November 24, 2021

 

Anne Frances Portillo, 59, of Millbrae, California, died on November 24th after her courageous battle with lung cancer. A long-time resident of Millbrae, Ann was born in 1962, in San Francisco, California to Muriel and Richard Lewis.

 

Anne lived all 59 years of her life with love, compassion, and infectious humor, and was completely selfless in all her actions. She devoted her life to her family and had a heart of gold. Anne will be incredibly missed by her family, friends and colleagues, who all loved her dearly.  Throughout her life, Anne was conscientious and good-natured, working as a catechism teacher for Saint Roberts in San Bruno early in life, she also filled multiple roles at Taymor Industries until she held her last position at Kaiser Permanente for 15 years (2006-2021), supporting patients in reception in both the pediatrics and dermatology departments.

 

She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Portillo; their four children: Antonio, Veronica, Ricardo Jr. and Andrew; and her grandchildren, Mason Portillo, Ryan Portillo, Allie Jayne Portillo, and Kai Cusguen. She will also be remembered by her mother Muriel Lewis and her brothers, Robert Lewis and Mathew Lewis.

 

The opportunities to honor Anne’s life will be during her Visitation on Thursday, December 2, at 5 pm in  Newall Chapel at Cypress Lawn Funeral Home in Colma, CA. Her vigil will begin at 7 pm. Her funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, at 11 am at St. Dunstan’s Church in Millbrae, followed by her internment at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Colma.
