Obituary for Estelle Sardo
Estelle Sardo, 78, of Equestrian Way, Poughqyuag, N.Y., a former lifelong Ansonia resident, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Vasser Hospital, Poughkesspie, N.Y. following a long illness. Miss Sardo was born in Ansonia on August 30, 1925 daughter of the late Raymond and Teresa Cecchini Sardo. She had worked as a bookkeeper for the City of Ansonia Tax Collector for 12 years until she retired in 1993. She is survived by a brother Angelo Sardo of Florida; a sister Lucy Batza of Poughquag, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews. The Spinelli-Malerba Funeral Home Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
