Obituary for Mrs. Virginia A. Runkle

Virginia Ann (Hardy) Runkle, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Manor Care South, York. She was the wife of Gerald R. Runkle, with whom she celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in December. Mrs. Runkle was born in York, October 6, 1932, daughter of the late Robert C. and Anna V. (Nye) Hardy. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Keith Gladfelter and his wife, Jackie of Florida; two stepsons, Thomas Runkle and his wife, Judy of Florida and Scott Runkle and his wife, Teresa of Delaware; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Cameron Gladfelter and stepson, Richard Runkle.
Services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
