Obituary for Renae Joy Lang

Renae Joy Lang was born in Des Moine, Iowa. She was 43 years young. She was a resident of Drexel Hill, PA.
She was the devoted wife of Gregory Lang and the loving mother of Nicholas, Carli and Michael Benozich. Daughter of Gary Gibbs and Delores (McLaughlin) Gibbs (pre deceased). Predeceased by Frances Baughman (William) She is survived by her Aunt Frances Brady, and cousins Kristy Stiefel (Doug), Lauren Haeberlan (Mark), Brenda Brady (Tommy) and many other cousins and her faithful companion who was by her side...and under her feet...and stole her pillow...dog Neko.
Renae was an Upper Darby graduate class of ‘95. She went into the medical field where she loved what she did. She was a very avid Philly sports fan who never missed an opportunity to go to a flyers game with her husband Greg. She loved taking her kids to all of their sporting events, football, softball, wrestling, basketball and track. She had a love for country music but also loved Go Go Gadget and watching her favorite show Blue Bloods. She was a definite people person. There wasn’t a person she wouldn’t talk to and find out about their life.
Renae was faced with many medical issues in her life but always with a smile on her face.  She was a breast cancer survivor, had her pancreas removed from chronic pancreatitis and then went onto liver failure. She was on the transplant list with John Hopkins and was awaiting a healthy liver. Sadly she passed away from complications of her organs. She was fully surrounded by her family and friends as she went on to finally be pain free.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to The Gift of Life program in hopes to help another.
