Obituary for Rita Wittmer

Rita Wittmer (nee Damato) age 85, formerly of Devon, PA, peacefully passed to eternal life on January 17, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She is the beloved mother of Rita Milbourne (Stephen) and Mary Lou Betz (Robert) and loving grandmother of Christopher and Jenny Betz, Andrew and Timothy Milbourne. She was preceded in death by son, William.

Rita worked as a travel agent and managed travel agencies for many years. She enjoyed her clients and traveling the world. After retiring from the travel industry, she worked for Tredyffrin Easttown School District and was loved by the staff and students.

She was a charter member of Proclamation Presbyterian Church and long time member of Tenth Presbyterian Church and she served on several committees and volunteered for many programs.

Rita will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, for her strong faith in Jesus Christ, her generosity, huge heart, integrity, strong work ethic and gracious hospitality.
