Obituary for Peggy M Mengle

Peggy M. Mengle, 80, of Lebanon, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in her home. She was the wife of the late Paul G. Mengle, Jr. She was born in Deer Lake, Schuylkill County, on February 8, 1936, a daughter of the late James O. and Marguerite Haussmann Meck. She was a homemaker most of her life but worked as a clerk for a bank and Lebanon Chemical Co. Peggy was a member of the Christ Presbyterian Church in Lebanon where she volunteered with noon meals. She served as a Girl Scout leader; enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by sons, Paul R. Mengle of Manassas, VA; James E. Mengle and wife Janet of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kevin, Emily and Jenna Mengle and Wade Regnell; great grandson, Ethyn Trancucci; sister, Carolyn Mehlman of Deer Lake. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28th at 11 am in Christ Presbyterian Church, 1300 Maple St., Lebanon, PA 17046, with a visitation beginning on Saturday at 10 am. Private interment in Schuylkill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. of Lebanon is handling her arrangements.
