Obituary for Darlene A Dreher

Darlene A. Dreher, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday while at Seton Manor Nursing Home, Orwigsburg.

Born in Tremont, Oct. 12, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Katherine Zerby Freeman.

Darlene attended Pottsville Area schools.

She worked as a seamstress at many of the area's local factories before opening Special Moments Bridal Shop in 1988. Darlene later worked as a receptionist for Chiropractic Health Works.

She was a member of The United Church of Christ, Landingville.

In addition to her parents, Dalene was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Marie Terway, and a brother, Harry Freeman.

Darlene is survived by her husband, William, along with their children, Deborah Kistler, Schuylkill Haven, John Dreher, husband to Audrey, Deer Lake, Katrice Bambrick, wife to Thomas, Schuylkill Haven, and Darren Dreher, husband to Kathleen, Schuylkill Haven. She is also survived by siblings, Patricia Trumbo, Joseph Freeman, husband to Beverly, Kay Davis, wife of George, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Freeman; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at United Church of Christ, Landingville, with Pastor James Fidler officiating. Family and friends are welcome from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation in Darlene's name be made to The United Church of Christ, 8 Church St., Landingville, PA 17972.
