Obituary for Louise J Reitz
Louise J. Reitz, 70, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully Sunday while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Isabelle Michel Sneddon. Louise was the loving wife of Dale Reitz, with whom she shared more than 44 years of loving marriage.
Louise was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1966, and later attended Bethlehem Business School where she earned her associate degree. She was a stay-at-home mom for her two children, Jennifer and Adam, for most of their childhood life. Louise worked for PPL and later Lafayette Ambassador Bank. She loved Bethlehem and the Liberty High School Grenadier Marching Band. Louise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all she touched.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dale; daughter, Jennifer Mahan and her husband, Matthew, Pennington, N.J.; son, Adam Reitz and his wife, Cameron, Titusville, N.J.; loving grandchildren, Owen Mahan, Ellie Mahan and Coulter Reitz.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
