Obituary for Blanche Rehrig
Blanche Rehrig, 89, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday at Schuylkill Center-Genesis HealthCare.
Born in Kaska, May 10, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Maybelle Stone Russell.
She was the widow of John L. Rehrig.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. She attended Pottsville High School and was a folder for the former Leininger Knitting Mill, Orwigsburg.
She was predeceased by her son, John M. "Zip" Rehrig; four brothers; five sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Donna L. Lenarz, wife of Bob, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating. Friends are invited from 9:30 a.m. until time of service for visitation with the family at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
