Obituary for Helen E Parker

Helen “Honey” Parker passed away on July 26, 2016, just 17 days shy of her 104th birthday.

She is joining in Heaven her husband, Walter Parker; her first husband, Lester Hall; her daughter, Barbara Chott; her granddaughter, Debbie Hunter; and grandson, Tommy Hall.

Honey is survived by her son, Dick Hall; daughters, Nancy Mathews and Carol Munaretto; and son-in-law, Jack Chott. She had 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a hardened Los Angeles Angels baseball fan to the very end. Honey enjoyed being pampered by the wonderful staff in the skilled nursing facility of the Tehachapi Hospital. One of the highlights of her life was the therapy dogs’ visits every Sunday afternoon. Honey loved attending church and looked forward to sunny days so she could “get some rays.” She was overjoyed when she recently became an honorary member of the Shepherd of the Hills Church.
