Mrs. Bernice Sturdivant Bernice Sturdivant went home to be with the Lord after a short illness on February 26, 2017, at The Merriman Nursing Home.Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12 noon at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Reverend Edwin Montgomery eulogizing. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service.
