Obituary for Janey K. Owens
Janey K. Owens, 75, of Mentor on the Lake, passed away February 28, 2017 at Heartland of Mentor. She was born May 29, 1941 in Yonkers, New York.
Mrs. Owens worked as an office manager at PCC Airfoils. She was an avid reader that had a passion for books and owned her own bookstore for 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, bird watching, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors are her husband, Clare Owens; children, Janet (Timothy) Morris, Theodore Fredriks, Kyle (Claudia) Fredriks and Kim (Lawrence) Donnelly; grandchildren, Halle (Michael) Land, Timothy Morris, Deanna, Kyle II, Claire, Mary Catherine and Cory Fredriks, Risa Orlosky, and Drew and Grant Donnelly; and her great granddaughter Brianna Land.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Dora Mae Kyle and her half-brother, Walter Kyle.
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday March 4, 2017 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens 11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026, Please meet at the cemetery.
