Obituary for Caroline T Inskeep

CAROLINE T. ''CAROL'' INSKEEP YOUNGSTOWN - Caroline T. “Carol” Inskeep, 91, passed away peacefully late Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 18, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Health Center, with her family at her side. Carol was born May 15, 1925, in Paulsboro, N.J., a daughter of the late James and Caroline Guenther Rabbitt. She graduated high school in Hammonton, N.J. She enjoyed working as a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell and later for Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital, where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 1987. After she met and married her beloved husband, Chuck, she relocated with him to Youngstown, where they raised their beautiful family. Mrs. Inskeep was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Brendan Church in Youngstown, and she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Inskeep leaves four children, James (Beverly) Inskeep of Canon City, Colo., Lee (Carole) Inskeep of Boardman, Karen (Michael) Ferreri of Redlands, Calif., and Charles L. (Betty J.) Inskeep of Hubbard; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Novitski of El Paso, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles E. Inskeep, whom she married Dec. 3, 1955; their daughter, Dayle Inskeep Dybas; and four siblings, Msgr. James Rabbitt, Charles Rabbitt, John Rabbitt, and Marie Rabbitt. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, and also from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
