DOROTHY M. CONKEY
CANFIELD – Private services were held for Dorothy M. Conkey, 92, who passed away Saturday evening at her home.
Dorothy was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Salineville. She was a daughter of Freid and Olive Rose Earl.
Dorothy married Francis “Dutch” Conkey on Aug. 7, 1943.
They moved to this area in 1951, where she raised her family with her husband, Dutch, who passed away in 1989.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Conkey of Clearwater, Fla. and Bob (Jen) Conkey of Boardman; and a daughter, Cheryl (Jim) Komara of Canfield. She leaves 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dutch; a brother, Ernest Earl; and a sister, Violet Banta. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of the Valley.
Funeral arrangements were provided by the Szabo & Sons Funeral Home in Youngstown
