Obituary for Norma Jean Schnaufer
Norma J. Schnaufer, age 91, of Kirtland formerly of Eastlake, passed away on September 26, 2016. She was born in Canton, on December 30, 1924, to the late Edward and Christine Freday.
She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her greatest joy and source of pride was spending time with her family. She was a long time employee of the Eastlake K-Mart and Vine Lanes. She was a woman with a big heart who loved cats.
Norma is survived by her sons Robert and Dean Schnaufer; grandchildren, Bryan and Michael; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sara Schnaufer and sister, Doris Williams.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Albert R. Schnaufer; daughters in law, Barbara Schnaufer and Nancy Schnaufer and grandson, Tony Schnaufer.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland. Arrangements entrusted to Monreal Funeral Home.
