Obituary for Clara A. Becker
Clara A. Becker, 90, of Geneva died Aug. 24th at Geneva Village Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 25, 1926 in New Orleans, La., the daughter of Ted and Catherine (Payne) Norris. She was a member of the Seniors Club at St. Noels in Willoughby Hills; also a room Mother at Immaculate Conception School in Willoughby. For over 20 years she volunteered at Lake West Hospital. She also helped make grape pies for Assumption Church in Geneva for the Grape Jamboree. Surviving her are two daughters, Carol (Reginald) Myers of Geneva and Lou Ann (Gary) Garvin of Mentor; two grandchildren, Kimberly Raygor and Julie Garvin and two great grandchildren, Owen Raygor and Benjamin Raygor. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Richard Becker in 2007; two brothers, Ted and Leo and four sisters, Hazel, Irene, Mae and Sylvia. Private services will be held at the convienance of the family with burial at Western Reserve Memorial Park in Chesterland. The Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio are honored to serve the Clara Becker family.
