CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Elsie Garner, 91, passed away August 1, 2016.
She was born in Alto, Tenn. and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 64 years. Elsie was a loving mother and grandmother and was a friend to all. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for the family.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rye, she is survived by her sons, Cal of Cuyahoga Falls, Mel of Columbus, Jim (Janie) of Akron and Phil of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Allison, Bradley and Trevor; four stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 4.
