Athena Angela Klisares was born September 9, 1922 to Angelo Stephen & Betty Jane (Banning) Klisares. She died May 28, 2016 at the Rehab Center of Des Moines at 71 years of age of a heart condition.
She is survived by her brother Nick Klisares of Bartlesville, OK; her sister Kim Elaine Cunningham of West Des Moines, IA; and her son Chris Klisares of Earlham, IA.
