Obituary for Danilo Riccardi

Danilo Riccardi, 58, entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2016, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Regina Somohano Riccardi. Mr. Riccardi was born in Rome, Italy on Oct. 31, 1957, son of the late Seny Riccardi and Enia Spaziani Riccardi. He lived in Ansonia for many years before settling in North Port. Danilo had worked in the construction and trucking industries. He was the owner/operator of D & S Construction/Stormwater Maintenance Inc. in Florida and an owner/operator in the trucking business previously in Connecticut. In addition to his wife, he is survived by loving sons, Lorenzo and Luciano Riccardi of North Port, FL, brothers, Davide Riccardi (Joanne) of Ansonia and Daniele Riccardi (Marcella) of Monroe, a sister, Tiziana Riccardi Burns (Jack) of Milford and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Danilo S. Riccardi and a sister, Luciana Jones. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. The SPINELLI­RICCIUTI/BEDNAROSIECKI FUNERAL HOME in Ansonia was privileged with the arrangements.
