VICTOR ''VIC'' G. BROCIOUS JR STRUTHERS - Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Victor “Vic” G. Brocious Jr. of Struthers who passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Vic was born in Timblin, Pa. on Oct. 26, 1929, a son of the late Victor G. and Mildred (Hepler) Brocious. Vic proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948 until 1955. Formerly of Kittanning, Pa., he resided in the Poland and Struthers area since 1956
. He was a truck driver with R & J Trucking in Boardman, before retiring in 1992. Vic enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the Tangier’s, and watching NASCAR races. Vic is survived by the love of his life, Elmira; daughters, Marie Votino of Austintown, Pamela S. Brocious of Poland and Linda K. Reichard of Austintown; a son, Victor G. (Jody) Brocious III of Struthers; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Vic was truly loved and will be sadly missed by his family. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Vic will be laid to rest in Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield. -
