Obituary for Shirley J Kerezsi(Dudash)

Services for Shirley J. Kerezsi, 88, of Willoughby, a homemaker, will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.  Mrs. Kerezsi passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at Fairmount Health Center in Willoughby.  Born May 24, 1927, in Kimbolton, she was a longtime Lake County resident. She enjoyed ceramics and needlepoint.  Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Elmer E. Kerezsi; children, Robert (Marlene) Dudash, Jim (Sandi) Dudash; step-children, Gerry, Barb, Sandy, Sharon and Ernie, Jr.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren and 32 step-great-grandchildren; brother, William (Mary Rose) Nugen, of Plano, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John P. Dudash, in 1971; and her daughter, Kathy Dudash. Her parents, James and Hazel (Erskine) Nugen; brother, Robert Nugen; and sister, Ruth Casteel, are also deceased. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4, 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Campbell of Faith of Tomorrow Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
