Johnnie was born May 6, 1942 in Boone, IA. Survivors left to mourn his passing: his wife of forty four years, Ila; brother, Edwin (Rose Marie) Sherer; nieces, nephews, many cousins and his racing buddies.
Johnnie''s body was donated to Science Care of Arizona and thanks to the Donor Group he was able help other people even after his death.
