Obituary for Christos Kakas
Christos N. Kakas, of Westwood (formerly of Norwood), passed away
peacefully after a heroic nine year battle with bone cancer on December
30, 2015. Son of the late Nicholas and the late Panagiota Kakas.
Dedicated and loving father to his son, Nicholas Kakas and his wife,
Nicole of Walpole as well as his daughter, Patti Bird and her husband,
Cameron of Millis, and former spouse, Nancy Kakas of Rochester, NY.
Beloved brother of Vasilios Kakas and his wife, Dimitra of West Roxbury,
Dimitri Kakas and his wife, Jenny of Sharon, the late George Fondas and
his wife, Toula of Norwood, Kiki Katsoulis and the late Demetrios
Katsoulis of Methuen and the late Ekaterine Kalogerakos of Greece.
Cherished grandfather of Alexander, Zoe, Christos, Leonidas and Michael.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and three godchildren.

Funeral from the James H Delaney & Son Funeral home on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 9am, followed by a funeral service at St. Gregory the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 West St, Mansfield, at 10am. Interment to follow at The Gardens Cemetary, 670 Baker St, West Roxbury.
